If you follow my Blog regularly, you'll have heard me talk about us sisters(check out the side bar "About Me"). We are a unique sisterhood, in that we are so far spaced in age and yet so very close. We treasure each other dearly.I am the oldest with the youngest K, standing to my left..we are 19 years apart. Then the sister M, to my right is 10 years younger than I, with my sister R, to her right being 17 years younger than I(this is her Blog if you're interested in reading about her life). I adore each of them!! Now, the reason I'm telling about us Sisterchicks is because I just booked plane tickets to fly out and visit with my baby sis at the end of October. I am beyond excited!!
My first leg of the Journey is to spend a weekend with my best girlfriend and her sister (note the theme of this trip). My girlfriend is speaking at a Ladies Wellness weekend and I am going to be her "Balcony" person...the one cheering her on.
Then my sis K is picking me up in that city and driving back to her home a couple hours away and I'm spending a week with her and her young family. She will then drive me back to the big city, where we will spend a day shopping, etc., spend the night in a hotel and I'll fly back home the next day. Oh what FUN!!
K has a little 3 year-old daughter, turning 4 in October, who is excited that her Aunty Feather is coming. We howl at her calling me that and wonder where in the world she came up with that name....but I don't mind. I think it's precious :)
