I couldn't get to sleep last night and all thoughts were running thru my head....random, silly thoughts and dreams. Hubby & I had coffee with our son yesterday aft and the talk was about boats, 5th-Wheel RVs, lakes, the shop he hopes to build yet before winter....well, as you can see, we went around the world and back :P
So, of course, guess what thoughts ran around in my head?? To be honest with you, if I had to choose between an RV or boat, I'd get the boat! I love water...swimming and being on it. The boat my son & Daughter-in-law looked at was one that was great for fishing but had all sorts of clever add-ons....turn the passenger seat and up pops a table telescopically,turn the driver's seat and up pops a sink & stove. Open a small door in front of the two seats and down you go into a tiny bathroom. The rear has a platform that lowers to the water, revealing a hidden ice-maker/cooler, then raises to boat level. Anyhow, it sounds marvelous....until he quoted the price-tag. Soooo, that remains a dream.
I also thought about lakes and how I'd love to just spirit away to a quiet, secluded Bay and relax...meet up with friends for a dinner of fish and wine..*sigh*
Isn't it great to dream??
