It's more than a day off. It's a day we remember those who have given their lives to protect the freedom our country often takes for granted. Having buried a grown son makes watching film clips of parents mourning a son who has served this country, break my heart. And it also fills my heart with gratitude that these young men and women go out there willingly, putting their lives on the line, losing their lives for us. Thank-you!
