I'm thinking ahead to Christmas. Usually by now I have all my gift shopping and handmade gifts bought, made and wrapped. This year, with the economy having kicked the stuffing out of everyone's nest, our family has decided to keep gifts few and handmade. So, this is one I'm painting for my oldest son and daughter-in-law. This is the picture I follow, however my painting is more blue than lilac.....the priviledge of my "creative" side :)
