Sad to say, this fire keeps growing...it's creating a lot of unrest, fear and lack of sleep among those on Evacuation Alert. I must admit I cannot even imagine being in a situation like this. It just saddens me to think of all the loss and damage of so many families.

On the home front, it's gorgeous, sunny weather and after several days of torrential thunder storms rolling in, this entire week is supposed to be sunny, dry and hot...finally! What a great start to this week!!
Yesterday our City had an Airshow and I caught a bit of it with planes flying, screeching and booming across the sky overhead. Most impressive was the tight formation of the famous Canadian Airforces Snow Birds
