Adult son

One huge advantage to us living here in the Big North, isn't the location, the weather, the wildlife.....etc. The thing I love the best is living close to our oldest son and his family. Today he called and asked if he could pop by for a coffee. Hubby happens to be off today as well, so we had a nice long visit. He has lived away from home for 11 years already, and 6 1/2 years of that were in a different town than us.I know that is "normal" for your kids to grow up and live away, but I feel like we miss out on SO many details that can never be recaptured. Of course, now that we live here, we have a son and his family living down south now.....ack!!Is it too much to ask to all be in the same town.....I guess so :P
